Positive: It is in a chalet in the mountain outside all buzz towns and villages. Extremely calm all times, so it's great! Many things to do around, including small walks, trails in the mountains, relatively big towns within 20-30 mins drive, large cities like Annecy an hour drive (and Chamonix too). The apartment is equipped with most of things for a week, so that's great.
Negative: The biggest minus is internet. Although it is clearly indicated that no wifi is available, I wish I had known that there is practically NO network. My wife and I have Orange and SFR as our phone operators and no internet/phone network whatsoever in the apartment and very little singal at the verge of its balcony. We heard some neighbors complained about it too. If your goal is to do a digital detox, why not, but otherwise, it was hard to plan days, search, connect with people, and even consult emails. You may not want to do all that (with extremely slow connection hanging at the balcony at night, cold night. :( I would think twice next time if I spend time around here.
