The home has its own well system. The lake is spring fed with sandy bottom. It’s perfect for recreational boating or fishing where boat rentals are available on the lake through Lauderdale Lakes Marina. Winter time has ice skating and is only 15 minutes to Alpine Valley Resort for down hill skiing in the winter or concerts in the summer. There is a restaurant on the lake you can park your boat to get drinks and casual dining if you don’t feel like cooking. The house was newly built 2 years ago with 3 full private bedrooms and a 3rd floor with bunk beds! Theres a laundry room on the main floor and a half bath. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a swim in the lake. The master bedroom has a king size bed with an electric fireplace and is on the main floor with huge sliding glass doors that slide all the way across and huge sliding screens that leads out to a deck with 4 chaise lounges and umbrellas in the summer. The master has a large en suite full bathroom. There are TV’s in all of the bedrooms. The 2nd floor has 2 queen size bedrooms where one of the rooms has a private en suite full bathroom. The 2nd queen size bedroom has an en suite large bathroom that can be made private or that bathroom is open to the hall where the 3rd floor can have use to it as there is no bathroom on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor has queen size bunk beds. Each bunk bed has blackout curtains for personal privacy, an outlet for charging phones, and a light if you aren’t ready to turn in at the same time as others. The 3rd floor also has a large screen tv and bean bag area to hang out. The 3rd floor is what many basements would be used for but with much better views! This home has a crawl space because it’s on a peninsula and water levels don’t allow for a full basement.
The kitchen, family room, and dining area are all open to one another with vaulted ceilings, a dry bar and huge glass 10’ sliding doors that slide all the way across and have screens that slide too to keep the bugs out in the summer! You feel like you’re sitting on the water when you are cooking! There are Sonos speakers throughout the house and outdoors for music everywhere. The family room has an electric fireplace that feels like wood burning without the hassle. All of this leads to a huge deck with a gas fire pit and sofa to have a drink and socialize. There is also a full service gas grill cooking station with an outdoor fridge and a 10’ outdoor table to enjoy eating outside with family and friends! The dock also has a big space with chairs for hanging out.
Kettle Moraine State Park is a 10 minute drive for both summer and winter activities wether snowmobiling or going for a hike, it’s outdoor living at its best all year round. Lake Geneva is just a 15-20 minute drive easy access to nightlife but without all of the crazy tourism.
