Our property is a family compound that serves as a meeting place for four generations of our growing family; where we relax, ground our lives, and enjoy the wonders of nature. We look forward to sharing our home with guests that love the ocean and sun; and love and respect our surrounding natural resources. We also enjoy sharing our home with people that hopefully want to get to know the people and culture of Puerto Rico.
This 3-story walk-up penthouse apartment is located in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, with over 2,500 sq. ft. of space available for occupancy. Hosts keep separate personal space, which is not part of the footage made available to guests. The property is located on “Las Picuas” beach, a 5-minute drive to the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Resort (great golf, restaurants & Casino); a 16 minute drive to Pickleball Courts, and it's a 13-minute drive to "El Yunque" Tropical Rainforest.
The condominium complex is situated on a beautiful miles long natural beach; and the apartment is fully equipped with kitchenware and everyday basics to make you feel right at home. Condominium amenities consist of a large adult–children’s swimming pool, a baby wading pool, tennis, basketball, and volleyball court, billiard table. We also have gated direct access to “Las Picuas” beach, which is steps away from our apartment’s building unit. There are many excellent restaurants just a minutes away drive (5-15 minutes); and, an array of available water sports and activities, including surfing, kayaking, and others. The property is a convenient 35-minute drive from the airport to the condominium complex on a modern open highway; and a 45-minute drive to the historic, 500-year-old, colonial city of San Juan.
Apartment Description: this two-level apartment is fully equipped to comfortably accommodate an entire family, or a group of friends meeting for a mutual vacation; bedroom and sleeping areas are equipped with ceiling fan and air conditioning; and offers complete privacy. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed; while the private family sleeping area comes with a queen size sofa bed, and an additional full-size futon. There is also ample closet space; and our numerous windows, and ventilation, offer plenty of natural light and fresh air.
The entry level living room area is equipped with 600 mmps internet access for streaming, a 55” smart TV, ROKU box and sound bar. On the second level family sleeping area, find internet access for streaming, 55" smart TV, Roku Box, a Blu-ray DVD player, and sound bar; also, find a kitchenette with sink and cabinet, microwave oven, and a convenient mini refrigerator.
There is also a large mezzanine family area overlooking the living and dining room below. The lower-level kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, utensils, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, blender, stove-oven, a refrigerator-freezer with filtered water and ice dispenser, and much more. Bags of cubed ice is available at the security guard station at a reasonable cost. Between both levels find two terraces, and several balconies overlooking our beautiful pool area, and backside green belt. There is an indoor dining area on the first level, and an outdoor dining area on the second level terrace.
We also have installed a 600-gallon water reserve tank, should it become necessary for continuous running water. We also have installed an EcoFlow Pro power battery for continuous refrigeration and power on the first level, living, dining, kitchen area, in the event of a power failure. Exclusive parking spaces are marked #13 and #14 and are available within the gated parking area. There are also available, limited, first come guest and accessible parking spaces. Ample parking is also available just outside the entry gate, on the side of the road. No other parking spaces may be occupied within the complex, as each parking space is privately owned.
Sit back and enjoy the weather in this very calm beachfront apartment complex. Enjoy the terraces and balconies, which also look to the "El Yunque” tropical rainforest on the right side, which has long been referred to as "the lungs of the Caribbean".
