Beautiful home on the New Roads side of picturesque False River! This home has all the amenities that make it easy to enjoy life on the water- huge yard, covered pier, sunroom and more. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house sleeps 12. The kitchen has plenty of space for entertaining and is right off the sunroom, making a fantastic hang out space with wide open views of the lake. The spacious living room has tons of natural light filtering through the large wood-framed picture window. The three bedrooms are huge. The home easily accommodates three families with everyone having some private space to get away from the crowd. Downstairs, you'll find a bathroom and a game room with ping pong and plenty of games and movies. There is a wet/mud room right off the back patio that serves as the perfect space to hang towels and store floats. The wet room connects to a large laundry room with washer and dryer. Spend your days or nights on the dock or hang out in the yard while you barbecue under the patio. Outdoor amenities include a fishing pier with fishing poles, canoe, paddle board and floats. Less than a mile from the heart of New Roads, take a leisurely stroll to walk to the parades, restaurants, festivals or downtown activities. Take in an LSU game right down the road or check out all that the Felicianas and Natchez, MS has to offer. Life on the river doesn't get much better than this!
We'll get you started with some basic household supplies, like a few rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and dishwasher pods. There are shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in both showers. This should get you through your first few days.
The kitchen is fully stocked with most everything you'll need. All of the basics are there and several extras, including a griddle, fryer, blender, mixer, toaster, filet knives, etc. The coffee maker brews a full pot. There are usually coffee filters, nondairy creamer and sugar in the cabinet. There is also usually a handful of basic spices. To keep kids occupied, there are tons of movies, board games, chalk and chalkboard, crayons and coloring books, etc. Outside, there is a charcoal grill, life jackets, canoe, paddle board, fishing poles, floats, pool noodles, and a cornhole game.
