Zonnewind is a detached holiday home for 2 to 6 people with a fully enclosed garden in a quiet holiday park on the edge of a nature reserve, in summer with a communal heated swimming pool in Adinkerke / De Panne.
The garden is south-facing with a spacious terrace with table, chairs and sunshade as well as a seating area where it is great to enjoy a chat and an aperitif. In the evening, it is possible to light up the garden. There is a small gate on the terrace so you can get closer to the car to unload your shopping. There is a parking space for 1 car near the cottage.
In the storage room outside there is a BBQ, cleaning equipment, hoover, etc.
The house offers on the ground floor in the entrance hall a cloakroom and access to the living room with a cosy sitting area with a wood-burning stove (a basket of wood is provided from 30/09 to 31/03 ) and TV with satellite connection for all German channels as well as digital TV with e.g. Netflix. A cupboard with books, radio as well as tourist information, toys and board games for young and old. The dining area seats 6. The kitchen is largely renovated and equipped with a combi microwave/oven, dishwasher, induction hob and a freestanding fridge with separate freezer compartment. There is also a coffee machine, kettle, mixer, mincer, egg boiler, fruit juicer, toaster, grill, salad dryer and a Senseo coffee machine. There are also plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery, dishes and oven dishes, pasta plates, cooking utensils, plenty of pots and pans. Plastic plates and cups are provided for children.
The bathroom was completely renovated with a spacious walk-in shower, washbasin with storage cabinet equipped with a hairdryer, mirror, toilet and heating.
Downstairs bedroom is equipped with a box-spring (160x200) with 2 bedside tables with lighting, a wardrobe with storage space, a section for hanging and a mirror. Upstairs there is an open sleeping area with a double bed (160x200) with a bedside table with lighting on both sides, a chest of drawers, and storage space for hanging clothes and storing suitcases, etc., a wicker chair for changing or relaxing. The second room is enclosed and includes 2 beds for 1 person (90x200), the room is darkened by a shutter on the roof window, furthermore there is a chest of drawers and a chair to change clothes or relax. All beds are equipped with pillows and duvets, the double beds also have 2 single duvets (140x200) in addition to the usual large duvet (220x240). The house is air-conditioned, i.e. both warm in winter and cool in summer.
You can also enjoy our extra service on request renting bed linen and/or towels, then the beds are made up on arrival.
in a radius of 2 km there are several restaurants, a supermarket,, bowling, bakery and pharmacy as well as a Cashpoint at the railway station. There is a bus stop at the exit of the park towards Adinkerke station or towards France. Plopsa amusement park is one and a half kilometres away. On the opposite side there is the Calmeynbos a large nature reserve that extends to France and the beach. De Panne is a cosy town with a variety of shops and eateries.
All year round, there are all kinds of cultural, sports and leisure activities. Historic cities such as Veurne, Ypres and Diksmuide are certainly worth a visit.
For cyclists, there are several routes that also cross the French border.
Upon arrival, you will be personally escorted to the cottage and given a word of explanation.
Dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, sponge, toilet and kitchen roll and the official rubbish bags are provided as standard. To make unpacking pleasant, coffee pods, tea or regular coffee are already provided as well as some salt and pepper, flour and sugar.
