The Agriturismo I MORI GELSI is located in the green heart of the Umbria Region, less than a kilometre from Torgiano, a town listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is framed by rolling hills of vineyards and a characteristic and enchanting landscape. The view from the house is over the vineyards of Fattoria Spinola and in the distance over Perugia and Torgiano. Despite the silence and peace that reigns there, I MORI GELSI is well connected to the main road (SP401) and therefore places of artistic and historical interest can easily be reached: Assisi, Perugia, Deruta, Todi, Gubbio, Montefalco, Bevagna... I MORI GELSI is made up of a main farmhouse dating back to 1900 and skilfully restored, and its annex, which once housed the tractor shed, henhouse and pigsty, converted into a delightful independent cottage. The cottage has been divided into two spacious and comfortable flats of 140 square metres each, ideal for families or friends. It is set in a large enclosed private garden with a swimming pool, fruit trees and flowering plants. Each flat has its own private outdoor area consisting of a large pergola lit and furnished with a beautiful hand-decorated Deruta table and chairs. Guests can also enjoy a private brick barbecue. The area is part of a Fauna Venatorial Farm: it is no coincidence that guests often come across colourful pheasants and fast-moving hares running around freely and undisturbed. A free organic vegetable garden is at their disposal during their stay, as are the farm's organic eggs. On arrival, guests will find a large welcome basket with everything they need for breakfast and two bottles of excellent PDO and PGI wine from the Spinola Farm as a gift. On the ground floor: large dining/kitchen and sitting area; 1 bedroom with 2 beds; a bathroom with shower. On the first floor: 1 large, bright living room with cast-iron stove and fireplace; 1 double room with cot; 1 room with 2 beds; 1 bathroom with bath and shower unit. Large organic vegetable garden available free of charge, welcome basket with breakfast and complimentary DOC wine.
