You leave Albi by the road of Cordes, attack the mountain, the whole city spreads out at your feet, the view carries up to the Black Mountain. Arriving on the plateau cordais, the landscape is quite different, the brick omnipresent in Albi gives way to limestone white stones, vines appear, ubiquitous to the bastides of Cordes-sur-Ciel or Castelnau-de-Montmiral. The village of Mailhoc is halfway between Albi and Cordes. There are many small hamlets formerly agricultural, such as the Vilandie, where each family owned a dwelling (or several), a barn and outbuildings, and lands all around, sometimes a lake, as here. You will stay in an old barn, all in length, wonderfully restored, a genuine Gîte of Character. Relaxing holidays, heritage and cultural visits, tasting of Gaillac wines, the oldest vineyard in France, sports and swimming in Cap Découverte.
Independent gîte in a small hamlet (former farm) of Pays Cordais, where the owners live in the back below. Private lake for fishing. Courtyard on the front, carport, garden at the back with pretty terrace of 22m ², plancha / barbecue, garden furniture (table and chairs) + relaxing garden lounge (two seater sofa, two armchairs, coffee table and two baths of Sun). Ground floor: huge living room with a nice frame, three bedrooms, one with private bathroom and a special children. Large room central heating, corner night reversible air-conditioning.
