Originally built in 1900, this quintessential Vermont farmhouse is a place of pure peace and utter charm. Spend your mornings watching the horses at neighboring Winchester Stables and gazing out at picturesque mountain views. Minutes from your stay, explore the historic town of Newfane, shop antiques at Fayetteville Antiques, indulge in a tasting at one of the area's wineries, take a peaceful stroll through Madame Sherri Forest, or catch a movie at the Bellows Falls Opera House. Mt. Snow and Stratton Mountain Resorts are approximately 35 minutes away, the perfect spot to indulge in skiing, snowboarding, and other winter recreation.
Back at your stay, you'll immediately fall in love with the tasteful furnishings and old-school ambiance. The open main living area is composed of warm wood finishes, and carefully curated pieces of artwork. The full kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances and opens to the dining area. Some of your favorite memories spent in Newfane will be gathered around the formal dining table with the people you love. The horse fencing is electric. The gates close at 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
