The 2,3k sqft of exclusive space is situated on the lower level of our home. Enter from the private entrance located on the right side of the house. Main living area with large windows that provide scenic views of abundant greenery. Our family lives in the house above you, and you can expect to hear footsteps and muffled voices during the day. We have young children when they are not at school, sometimes the noise might be loud. The kids have a bedtime at 9 p.m. Our quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 a.m.. For everyone’s comfort, the house is equipped with central air conditioning and a furnace, though the temperature controls are pre-set for the home. The lower level where you stay is cool in the summer, and toasty in the winter. If your personal temperature preference does not match ours, we provide a portable fan, space heater, and extra blankets. The furnace is in the closet near the kitchen, and you may notice it while it runs. We would consider it background noise, which won’t disturb you in the bedroom with closed doors. We have severe allergies and cannot have any animals, scented candles, incense, etc due to shared furnace ducting.
The main living area boasts large picture windows offering views of lush greenery, laminate floors, a dining room featuring a decorative fireplace, and a comfortable couch for relaxation while enjoying your favorite shows. There is one extra queen-size mattress you can set in the living room. Plenty of space! In the kitchen, we've preserved the retro charm, maintaining real wood cabinets and orange countertops. All the necessary cooking supplies are available to prepare and savor a homemade meal with your family. The primary bedroom exudes a soothing ambiance, furnished with a cozy queen bed, a dedicated workstation, and two closets. The second bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and a twin bed, is stocked with toys, games, and books for young travelers. Step onto the covered deck to enjoy a view of our backyard, surrounded by trees and frequented by birds. In spring and wintertime, you can see the famous "Willamette Falls" from the deck!!
