The Birks is a charming, single-storey stone cottage with roses blooming around the door in summer, located in a great position for exploring the area. Presented to a good standard throughout, it benefits from a living/dining room with wooden floors and a cosy wood burner, a garden room with a door leading to the enclosed garden, and a well-appointed kitchen with utility area. It is just a short drive to the unspoilt old fishing village of Findhorn, where you can easily spend a day wandering along the marina or walk all the way to Burghead along the glorious beach, past the entire eastern Culbin Forest and the huge dune system. The Moray Firth coastline is dotted with beautiful fishing villages such as Burghead, Hopeman, Lossiemouth, Buckie and Gardenstown, while inland there’s the Whisky Trail, which this property lies in the middle of.
