Summary: We were lucky to stumble across Casas Kismet since they generate most of their business by hosting group retreats & only occasionally open up individual units for rent. That means minimal reviews were available through the normal channels at the time of our booking, but we took a chance anyway given the last minute nature of our plans. I'm pleased to say that our stay at Casas Kismet and the surrounding Nosara area was a delight for our family (inc. 2 teenage daughters). The suite was comfortable, clean, well maintained & exactly as depicted in the photos. The sunsets from our balcony were second-to-none. The daily breakfasts, prepared by their onsite chef, were first-rate: creative, healthy and tasty dishes influenced by local ingredients. The owners (Terry & Lizzy), as well as their staff, were friendly and helpful from the time of our initial booking through to our departure. We used Casas Kismet as our base for daily excursions and had wonderful dinners at the many local restaurants, including a couple meals at nearby Lagarta Lodge - which is an easy walk away. Casas Kimset's pool, gym and other amenities served us well in between our external activities and beach visits. TIP: We rented a pair of ATVs to get around the area, which is a pretty common mode of transportation in the region. These vehicles greatly enhanced our experience as they are well suited to the road conditions in Nosara. They made getting around to restaurants and the beaches a fun activity in itself. Lots of great memories from our trip to Nosara. Thank you to everyone at Casas Kismet for enhancing the experience.
