This luxury Lake Maggiore villa is absolutely stunning. It boasts a private swimming pool and private gym, has incredible 180 degree lake views and is within walking distance of the lakeside shops and restaurants. Furnished throughout with contemporary, designer pieces, it's a truly unique holiday rental for that 'extra special' holiday.
This luxury Lake Maggiore villa was renovated in 2017 when it was furnished to an extremely high standard by the current owners. They have used colour brilliantly to create a bright, vibrant but warm and welcoming space. Furnished in a modern, contemporary style throughout, the house is set over two levels and also boasts a separate pool house.
On the ground floor of this luxury Lake Maggiore villa, there is a spacious master bedroom suite. This has a large, comfortable bed as well as a separate living area. The furniture has been cleverly positioned to make the most of the spectacular lake views that it enjoys from floor to ceiling windows. This room is equipped with air conditioning. An adjacent bathroom has a large walk in shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Doors lead from the master bedroom lead out to a large terrace and a lawned garden area, equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture.
Upstairs on the first floor of this luxury Lake Maggiore villa, there are two additional bedrooms. These share a bathroom which is equipped with both a bath tub and separate shower. These bedrooms don't have A/C as they are positioned at the rear of the house where it is cooler but they are both equipped with fans should guests want them. All the windows in these rooms are also equipped with grills and insect nets so if the weather is warm, guests can keep the windows open at night to keep it cool.
The first floor of this villa is also home to a contemporary kitchen and spacious open plan living and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with 6 ring gas hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge and freezer. The adjacent living area has floor to ceiling windows allowing guests to make the most of the fantastic lake views. A hanging chair and chaise longue provide comfortable seating from which to gaze at the view and there are also more traditional sofas. Doors lead from this living area to a wooden terrace.
A separate pool house adjacent to the main villa is where you will discover a private gym, third bathroom and a second open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This space is ideal for when you are lounging by the poolside in the Summer months as doors lead directly from this room to the poolside terrace.
The location of this luxury Lake Maggiore villa is quiet, peaceful and truly idyllic. Outside, the terraced, landscaped gardens are immaculately kept. A private heated pool has a large adjacent terrace area equipped with both loungers and formal seating. There is a gas BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining. Paths lead down from the terrace to the terraced gardens below. These are mostly laid with lawns and planted with mature trees, vines and shrubs. Interesting statues and artworks provide an extra dimension to this space. The pool is open from 1 May to 1 October each year.
There is parking for 2 cars within the gated driveway and a turning circle allows for easy entry and exit. Please note that a raised edge at the entrance to the driveway can make access difficult for those in low vehicles or sports cars.
This luxury Lake Maggiore villa is situated in a quiet and upmarket residential area on the hillside above Lake Maggiore. Suna is a small but charming lakeside town boasting a number of independent shops and restaurants. It is possible for guests to walk to the town in about 20 minutes. Alternatively, 10 minutes further along the lakeside on foot, guests will reach Pallanza where there is a boat stop as well as a number of additional restaurants and shops. Whilst the boat stop is reachable on foot, we do recommend that guests have a car with them as well to ensure you can get out and about easily.
The area surrounding this luxury Lake Maggiore villa is absolutely beautiful. The house is the perfect base from which to visit towns such as Arona, Pallanza and Stresa. It's also a great location for those wishing to visit the beautiful Borromean Islands. Isola Bella is beautiful and it's worth a trip to see its beautiful gardens and palace as well as the famous white peacocks. The property can also be used as a base to visit Lake Orta and Lake Como.
It is possible to walk down to Suna through the garden. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes. Once there you can access public transportation. However, we would strongly advise that guests hire a car during their stay.
This is luxury accommodation at its best. This luxury Lake Maggiore villa has been furnished not as a holiday rental but as a true 'second home' which the owners use regularly. We love the incredible 180 degree views as well as the stylish decor. We also love the pathway that leads through the garden to the lakeside. Please note that this villa is unsuitable for any children under 10 years old.
