Come relax with us! Our guest space includes a private lower-level entrance w/ 500 sq feet of guest room, kitchenette/ sitting room combo, a half bath w/ laundry and private outdoor firepit.
Your cozy and spacious bedroom includes a queen-sized bed with plenty of pillows, heavy duvet to keep you snug in the winter months and a light quilt for those summer evenings. A loveseat to lounge on, dresser and closet to put your belongings in, electric fireplace to keep toasty warm, and a small bookcase with a variety of reading! If you need to unwind with some tv you will enjoy our mounted 36” Roku TV with access to streaming services (Roku, Peacock, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Tubi, and HBO Max). Free Wi-Fi is provided!
We are surrounded by great restaurants, but if you would like to cook, your kitchenette has all the things you need for you basic cooking needs! Microwave, countertop convection oven, countertop stove eye, griddle, toaster, K-Cup style coffeemaker, dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils will have you set! The dorm sized mini fridge has a small freezer with ice trays! We provide our guests with an assortment of coffees, creamers, sweeteners, teas, condiment packets (mayo, ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, and jelly's/jams), and a complementary goody basket! There is a small table with seating for two and a green sitting chair right in front of the picture window for drinking your morning coffee and watching the antics of our crazy dogs (free entertainment).
Your large, updated half bath/laundry room is stocked with beach towels, first aid kit, hair dryer, and laundry supplies! Don’t take home dirty clothes, do your laundry here so you can relax when you get home! COMMING SOON: We were awarded the opportunity by DOVE to provide our guests with free sample sized deodorant sprays from the Dove and Degree lines! Once these arrive, we will be setting these goodies out for our guests!
Gather around your private firepit and roast hotdogs or make s’mores. We provide our guests with plenty of free firewood! Smoking is allowed at the firepit.
Guest Access:
You have a private entrance to the downstairs (minus one room, Scott’s art studio). This includes the large bedroom, kitchenette, laundry/ half bath, private firepit area, and guest backyard (this is our spring project to make this space special for our guests so please pardon our landscaping construction starting in April 2022). Our guests have their own private parking space just off our driveway (finished product will be completed in July 2022).
Shared Space:
(This VRBO is in a shared home with the homeowners, but the guest space is on our lower level and private for our guests). At this time the downstairs guest space does not have its own shower. We have a large bathroom upstairs (as seen in listing pictures) with tub shower combo and double sink for our guests. When my older kids are home the space is shared, but we truly don't find this to be intrusive and welcome guests upstairs!
