Situated in the heart of Port Appin, the town has an array of amenities, all within easy walking distance. The area is famed for its natural rugged beauty and wildlife including red deer, pine marten, wild cat, otter, golden eagle and sea eagle, and marine life, including porpoises are regularly spotted. Wildlife tours, both sea and land, are available in the area. Fort William and Oban are both close by as is the famous Glencoe. Lorne Cottage’s fantastic Highland location makes it a great base to take advantage of the many places of interest and attractions found in this wonderful part of Scotland. Beach 11 miles.
