Stroll through Carcassone on foot or discover the city from the funicular railroad or a horse-drawn carriage. Gourmets can look forward to Occitan cuisine and must definitely try the famous cassoulet (bean stew). On the Canal du Midi, which connects Toulouse with Sète, you can make a very nice bike ride or walk and of course join a boat trip.
