Delightfully secluded yet only a short stroll from the beach, this beautifully presented property offers an ideal holiday getaway. The coastal village of Southerness, projecting out into the Solway Firth, has undoubtedly some of the most outstanding views of the Solway Firth to the Lake District beyond. Explore the beach, try sea fishing or simply enjoy the views of the striking lighthouse, built in 1749. Back at the property cosy up in front of the open fire or relax in the private hot tub! What could be better? Further afield the area has something to offer everyone from walking, sailing and mountain biking at the world famous 7Stanes range. The area is also well recognised for its clear skies, it is one of the 12 best stargazing sites in the world and the first Dark Sky Park in the UK. This property has a £150 refundable damage deposit payable direct to the owner by cheque 2 weeks before arrival. If you dont have a cheque book you can arrange a bank transfer with the owner. There is a deposit if you want to use the hot tub it is an extra £60 on arrival. Up to one dog only, any additional dogs charged at £20 each. There is a loch/sea 400 yards from property. Initial fuel for open fire included, thereafter available locally at cost.
