Summary: Overall, our stay was nice and we had everything we needed. House was clean and well stocked. We wanted to visit Park City and Brighton, so it was a central location for us. The only reason for 4 starts instead of 5, was because of some work being done. I feel we should have been informed earlier than the day before we arrived. We weren’t there to hang out at the house but still had a couple times we wanted to sit and relax and had drilling/hammering going on outside (& we could not use the front door). The only time we really needed the front door was for our pizza delivery as parking is in the back. I did reach out to the host, they responded quickly, but really not much we could do at that point. They did offer to reimburse us for unused nights if we wanted to move elsewhere, but we had to stay the 1st night and VRBO does not allow last minute bookings and we weren’t going to move half way through our trip. Some type of concession would have been appropriate, being the inconveniences . The only other issue we had is the water does not stay inside the upstairs shower. It runs out all over the floor and we used towels to keep it under control. Honestly, if we would have been informed earlier of the work or offered some type of concession, I would have given 5 stars.
