The Space:
The property offers extensive accommodation for guests, including four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a laundry room, and two living rooms with 75-inch TVs. The indoor and outdoor areas are styled for entertainment and relaxation. Upon entering the fluid, contemporary floor plan, you’ll notice the gleaming hardwood floors that lead you up to the main living area. The second-floor living room welcomes you with a space that feels like a home away from home. A huge reclining sectional hugs a corner of the living room, facing a flat-screen TV that’s ready to play your favorite movies or stream the big game. Choose from a number of streaming services, including HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix, or put on some tunes with Amazon Music. Grab a wine glass from the mounted wine rack and hold your drink on the coaster coffee table or keep it in one of the sectional’s convenient cup holders.
Onward is a chef's kitchen designed to handle entertaining, whether full-scale or for intimate gatherings. The kitchen features high-end stainless steel appliances, including a 5-burner gas stove/oven, fridge, and dishwasher. Granite countertops provide ample space for food preparation, and the cabinet spaces provide plenty of storage and are stocked with all the amenities of a home. Make yourself a cup of joe using the coffee maker, toast some bread in the toaster oven, and enjoy a homemade breakfast in the eat-in kitchen.
Guests also have the option to dine in the formal dining room or on the back patio, accessed from the kitchen slider. It opens to the rambling, 2-story deck, where a commodious grill deserves pride of place. You’ll love the natural light that streams in while you share a meal at the six-person dining table.
After a long day of adventuring or exploring, the bedrooms are just begging for you to escape into dreamland. Be sure to call dibs on the master with the king-sized bed if you want to spread out on the biggest mattress! This room also has its own mounted flat-screen tv, matching bedside tables, and a big dresser to hold all your clothes. If you’d prefer to hang your garments or need additional storage space, there’s a big walk-in closet equipped with hangers and extra shelving. The master also has a full bathroom with a sparkling clean soaking tub and a standing shower with a detachable shower head and is stocked with intentional amenities and towels.
The other bedroom on the second floor has a full-sized bed and is perfect for kids, teens, or solo sleepers. Though the bedroom is smaller, it still has all the necessary components to make it an enjoyable living space. The large wooden desk is the perfect sunny area to get some work done or read one of the books offered to guests. There’s also a unique indoor window with red shutters that opens up to the living room, ideal if you want to keep an eye on the kids while they sleep!
Across the hall from the master is a third bedroom with another full-sized bed. Comfort and simplicity are key for this room, furnished with a bed, two matching side tables and lamps, and lovely wall paintings. Clean and cozy linens are provided for this room and the other bedrooms.
Who says you need to share one living room?!. Down the carpeted stairs will lead you to the ultimate hangout spot, a second living room with a sectional, huge gas fireplace, and a flat-screen TV. Have the kids watch movies downstairs while the adults mingle upstairs, or pick a board game from our game stash and have some good old-fashioned competitive fun. The rustic brick wall and authentic mounted ox head create a cabin-in-the-woods ambiance. Easily access the backyard using the separate entrance.
The final bedroom is also downstairs and comes with its own private full bathroom. This room enjoys total privacy from the rest of the home and is furnished with a queen-sized bed, mirrored dresser, and two side tables. The bathroom is also identical to the one upstairs, except there’s no soaking tub. Instead, you’ll enjoy a spacious walk-in shower with gorgeous tile. Always provided are 5-star resort comforts such as towels, soaps, and essential toiletries.
The amenities don’t end there! Completing the lower level is an ultra-convenient laundry room with a washer and dryer. You’ll have access to everything you need to keep your garments fresh and clean, including detergent, fabric softener, and an ironing board to keep your clothes smooth.
Access the backyard through the downstairs separate entrance. Landscaped grounds include a level yard for games, entertaining, or relaxing by the fire pit. Unwind on the outdoor furniture and enjoy the views of the mountains from the back deck. The cozy and very private backyard is surrounded by trees and framed by a fence. We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.
Other Things to Note:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
- We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
