There are many walks, including the popular West Island Way with a varied landscape of hills, coastal paths and rugged moorland. Cycling along the quiet island roads is also a great way to see the wildlife and appreciate the ever changing views.
The wonderful Mount Stuart House, where Stella McCartney was married, is well worth a visit, and in the summer you can take a trip on the Waverley steamer to the Isle of Arran. Fly fishing for rainbow trout is available for fishing enthusiasts, and for those that enjoy a round of golf there are three courses on the island to choose from.
