The detached, solidly built holiday home with 90 square metres of living space stands on a lovingly landscaped garden plot of 530 square metres within a holiday home development. Its conservatory offers the opportunity to sit outside in all weathers, while two terraces and a cosy spot in the garden invite you to linger in fine weather. A newly installed photovoltaic system with storage provides the holiday home with environmentally friendly solar power.

In 2023 the State Garden Show took place in Höxter (14 km), a large part of the beautiful grounds is still preserved as a local recreation area.
The house is located in the climatic health resort of Vörden on the southern slope of the Hungerberg in western Weserbergland, not far from the former Benedictine Abbey of Marienmünster. The nearby adventure playground and miniature golf course as well as a small playground with cable car within the grounds are particularly attractive for families. Hiking and cycling trails (R1) allow you to explore the marvellous natural surroundings. In the village centre, 1.5 km away, you will find a supermarket, doctor, pharmacy, pizzeria, snack bar, a traditional inn and an indoor swimming pool with sauna area.
Marienmünster is situated in an important cultural landscape with many places of interest: World Heritage Site Corvey Monastery and Castle, Fürstenberg Porcelain Manufactory, Westphalian Open-Air Museum Detmold (Germany's largest open-air museum), Detmold Old Town, Externsteine, Hermannsdenkmal, the artists' town of Schwalenberg and Schiederstausee. In the district town of Höxter (14 km away) you can go shopping or take a Weser boat trip from there.
A highlight for families is the Godelheimer See leisure centre (16 km). Here you can swim for free, relax on the sandy beach and explore the many play and climbing equipment or play beach volleyball. There is only a car park fee to pay.
We definitely recommend a cycle tour along the Weser towards Holzminden/ Bodenwerder or Bad Karlshafen, past Herstelle Monastery and the Skywalk.
