There are several cafes/dining-out options available in this area very close by (an approximate 1 minute walk away). Summary: While we did really enjoy the stay, the view isn't quite as advertised as the foliage has grown considerably since the main shot was taken. You can certainly still see the water, but that photo was the reason I booked so I was a little disappointed to see the water views had diminished. The beach access was also barricaded off for quite a distance behind the properties along that stretch, I'm unsure why. The outdoor furniture wasn't clean and the blankets in the cupboards had grass on them so I don't think they'd been washed. The saucepans in the cupboards were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. For a weekend stay there was enough dush washing liquid for 1 hand wash and 1 dishwasher tablet so a little more generosity in that area would ensure guests can leave dishes clean and sanitary for the next booking. Picking up the keys after hours was a total nightmare. The shop where you go to collect them is in the centre of the busy Caloundra street and unfortunately there was a rally in town when we arrived which meant I had to kick my elderly mum out of the car at a zebra crossing so she could collect keys, drive around then circle back to pick her up. And we were charged a fee for that inconvenience. Then when dropping the keys off, that same road was closed off for the markets so I had to repeat the process. Quite a significant inconvenience that could easily be overcome with a lock box at the property. Otherwise the property was comfortable and well appointed, the sound of the ocean was really relaxing and I witnessed the most spectacular apricot sunrise I've ever seen which I'm very grateful for.
