ALTIDO is delighted to welcome you to Casa Bartolomeu, a gorgeous cottage located just outside picturesque Portimão, about 3 hours from Lisbon. Enjoy serene countryside tranquillity just a 10-minute drive from the historic city and 15 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches. The house consists of 1 mezzanine-style bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, a stylish living room with 2 sofa beds, a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a shared pool, and free parking. Daily housekeeping and breakfast are included.

Casa Bartolomeu, named after a former worker, is part of the Quinta da Donalda estate, which has been in the same family for over 360 years. This historic house will meet your highest expectations for comfort and quality, and it has all the necessary amenities and modern touches to turn your vacation into an unforgettable travel experience. This is the perfect accommodation for friends or a couple wanting to experience the best of Portimão. There is plenty of space for 2–4 guests, and all essentials, linens, towels, TV, and WiFi are provided.
LIVING ROOM, DINING & KITCHEN:
When you enter the cottage, you will find the modern living room, furnished with two comfy sofas, which can each turn into a single bed, where you can sit back and relax after a long day travelling. Also, there is a flat-screen TV where you can watch your favourite TV show. Then, gather your dearest ones around the dining table, which seats 6, and enjoy a lovely meal together.
The fully equipped kitchen has all the necessary appliances to prepare your meal, including a microwave, coffee machine, oven, hobs, cooking basics, and silverware.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
The staircase leads to the main bedroom, which overlooks the living room and has its own ensuite shower. The bedroom is furnished with a soft twin bed, chest of drawers, bedside table, and wicker chair.
The main bathroom on the ground floor is fitted with a cabin shower and toilet, and the ensuite on the first floor has a shower and sink.
OUTDOOR SPACE:
Take a jump into the refreshing pool or relax and soak in the warm Portuguese sun in one of the lounge chairs while reading a book. Guests can enjoy the estate’s exclusive pool, outdoor shower, lounge area, barbeque, dining area, and lush gardens, which are shared by other guests on the property. Pool towels are also provided.
Laundry and Extra Appliances
Housekeeping staff are available to wash and dry your clothes for an additional fee.
The property is equipped with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and a safe for your convenience. Air conditioning is also available.

ALTIDO’s property is nicely located on the Quinta da Donalda estate near Portimão, a port city specialising in fishing and trade. It is the second-largest city on the Algarve (after Faro), and it is famous for its extensive sandy beaches and unique historical buildings. One of the most significant events on the calendar is Festival da Sardinha – the most celebrated annual sardine festival on the Algarve coast, held each August.

Portimão is a 2 hour and 35-minute drive from Lisbon.
Alternatively, you can reach the city by train or bus. There are five daily trains and two coach companies operating services between Lisbon and Portimão. A journey with public transport takes between 3-4 hours.

While children are allowed, they must be under supervision at all times as the property is so large.
Any additional services during your stay must be paid in cash to the staff onsite.
Please note that а refundable damage deposit of €200 is mandatory and should be paid in cash upon check-in.

Keep the property clean and tidy.
Whilst washing up and stripping the beds at check-out would be appreciated, it is by no means expected.
Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbours in the building.
Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving.
To ensure the safety of our current and future guests, we ask all guests to complete our online check-in form and to provide a valid form of identification.
