This place will make you say WOW as soon as you enter the door, it is definitely not an ordinary Airbnb property! Split over 4 levels with a lift covering the first 3 there is plenty of room to relax & enjoy this amazing space.
The property is located in a bluestone laneway off Queensberry Street & close to the corner of Errol Street. Everything you need is just at the doorstep including supermarket, cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops as well as train, tram & buses a short distance away.
The ground level of this property is welcoming and offers a seating area, master bedroom with built in robes, wall mounted TV and private ensuite with shower, there is a wine storage area leading to the double garage with TV & remote-control access.
You can either take the lift or take the stairs to level one where you will find a second bedroom with built in robes & desk, third bedroom/TV room with a pull-out sofa bed that can be used as a couch or to sleep with wall mounted TV and open shelves. There is a designer bathroom with shower & bath plus a separate laundry with washing machine & dryer plus a drying cupboard.
The third level comprises the open plan kitchen including an island bench with chairs, high quality appliances, butler’s pantry, dishwasher, boiling & cold water taps built in, fridge, freezer and everything you might need for your stay, there is a 8 seater dining table, couch & arm chairs plus a piano. On a nice night you can open the glass sliding doors and take advantage of the terrace with built in BBQ kitchen, overhead heaters & bar fridge.
To take full advantage of the views you go up the spiral staircase to the top level and have a 360-degree aspect with the city as the highlight, there is a dining table & chairs plus two deckchairs for you to relax and enjoy.
This property also has heating & air conditioning throughout, electric blinds in the living area & the finishing touches at this property are next level. It has so many extra features that you will love, you won't ever want to leave!
You will have exclusive access to the whole property except for:
- a locked room on level one at the top of the stairs
- a cupboard on level one which is locked for the cleaners supplies
- a cupboard in bedroom 3 on level one
- a couple of kitchen cupboards
Please note: This property has a strict no party policy. We will also only accept guests over 25 years of age and with positive reviews by previous hosts. We may ask you for further identification or information prior to accepting your booking request. This property is aimed at families or travelling professionals and groups of young friends looking for a place to stay won't be accepted.
Although we won't be available in person we are available to assist at anytime throughout your stay via the booking platform.
The magic of North Melbourne can be found in the boutiques and restaurants on Errol and Victoria Street. Or on Queensbury Street, where the Arts House hosts the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
North Melbourne is bordered on the north by Parkville, on the east by Carlton, on the south by West Melbourne, and on the west by Kensington.
You don't need a car to explore the local area, it is easy to get around by foot or public transport. If you do have your car you will have access to the double garage or can park on the street but watch out for parking restrictions.
When you check-out you will be required to leave the property in a neat state including dishes washed and put away, used towels left in the bathroom for the cleaners to collect, fridge empty, all personal items removed & rubbish removed and disposed of. This will ensure the cleaners can prepare the property for the next guest. If extra time is required for cleaning then we will put in for additional costs with Airbnb.
The beds in this property are provided with a fitted sheet, doona with cover and 4 pillows with covers. A top sheet is not provided.
Please note: Our check in time is 3pm and our check out time is 10am, we are unable to allow early check ins or late check outs. There is also no bag drop or storage available at this property. We also only accept guests with a proven positive history with Airbnb at this property. When you book we may ask you questions about your visit and potentially ask for additional ID from the guests as well as adding all guests to the booking. Groups of your people will not be accepted for this property, it is an amazing property and not for parties or entertaining.
As an extra security measure for the property we do require the below information to be sent through prior to finalising your booking:

- The names and ages of all of the guests
- The photo ID of the main booking holder
The reason we ask for the above information is unfortunately due to some recent poor experiences with guests, please note if this information is not provided we will be unable to proceed with your booking and the access will not be granted on the day of check in.
This is a very quiet property so no visitors, loud noise or events.
There is no smoking allowed in the property or on the terrace with the doors open. If you smoke in the property a $500 fee will be charged via the booking platform.
We are very careful with bookings for this property and please be aware that group events such as Hens & Bucks parties, Birthday celebrations and Wedding preparation and photos will not be accepted. This is a special family home not a house for gatherings or parties.
Please note: We don't allow check ins or check outs on public holidays due to cleaners availability, if you try and choose this option it will say host unavailable on the calendar.
