Enjoy our family lake house on beautiful, iconic Skaneateles Lake in the finger lakes region of Central New York. If you are looking to get away and relax off the beaten trail, but are still close enough to boat or drive into the village of Skaneateles this large 3,500 sq ft ranch home with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths can accommodate two families or a large group very easily. We are an easy scenic drive from the village on the East Lake Road. Also, a big plus, being on the East side of the lake, because you will enjoy the sun from sun up to sun down, and the most incredible sunsets while grilling out or having cocktails on the deck, or from the large dock just steps below on some of the most crystal-clear waters you'll ever see. Marina across the lake offers great boat rentals so you can truly enjoy all this lake has to offer! We also do provide a boat buoey if you need a place for your own boat.

Summary: This house is wonderful...exceeded our expectations in every way! The description uses the word "cozy," and while it is a warm and inviting home, it is also much larger than you think from the pictures. It has perfect space for family or friends to spread out (large bedrooms with comfortable beds and linens) or be together (HUGE living room, very large dining room table that seats 12, main floor family room, lower level rec room). There are 4 full baths (2 very nicely updated, other 2 are fine). The kitchen is totally equipped with everything you could possible ever need. Although not air conditioned, there are fans in every room, and the breeze coming across the lake on the east side of the lake is wonderfully cool. The outdoor space is perfect...the back yard is largely shaded with beautiful flowers everywhere, the front/side yards provide level space for outdoor games, large patio overlooking the lake with large table, smaller patio for conversation, fire pit, charcoal grill, stable and sturdy steps (and not too many!) to the dock, large dock with ladder into the water and many many comfortable chairs in every outdoor space. And, the view is spectacular! The owners were immediately responsive to any question we had. We loved our 2 weeks, and hope to be back again in the future.
