Summary: I fell in love with this cute place when I saw it online and it looked exactly like the pictures. It was charming and well cared for. Our host, Mark, was so proud of it. The house was drafty but that goes with being so old. Mark said “ just turn up the heat” and we were fine. The location was close to everything we wanted to see or do. I felt no safety issues. There was one thing I thought was a little weird, our host lived in an RV behind the house. But he was such a great host and so easy to talk to, he never intruded on our visit and had his own things to do, so it was almost like he wasn’t there. Besides, it was kind of reassuring to have him close in case something went wrong. I had a friend fly down to check out Las Cruces and Mark told us to have her stay in the 2nd bedroom. So nice. Can you tell I was impressed?
