Awesome views of several fourteeners and the Arkansas river from the living room and deck. 2 miles from access to Twin Lakes and 6 miles from historic town of Twin Lakes. Centrally located for all your Colorado Adventures between Leadville and Buena Vista (both about 20 minutes and both have great shopping and dining). Trout fish the gold medal river within walking distance. Fishing. Kayaking. Boating. Paddle Boarding. Hiking. Relaxing.
Dog friendly. Fully fenced property (though if you have an escape artist no guarantees he won’t find a hole somewhere. My dog never has).
WFV - Work From Vacation. Starlink Internet and WIFI in case you need to get some work done while you are there. Work from the desk in the bedroom for privacy, or work on the deck or living room for great views while you work.

Summary: We loved this location! Twin Lakes was so fun. We booked 2 nights on vrbo and decided to stay a few days longer. The kids loved playing on the beach (I was surprised how beachy it was for a mountain lake). We rented paddle boards and kayaks from the rental place right there in town. Sitting on the deck in the evening was so relaxing and beautiful. The host was very accommodating. We brought our dog and the fenced in area was awesome to not worry about her running off. The beds were comfotable and the desk in the bedroom was great for some work I had to get done and I could shut the door for privacy. Internet was fast and worked great. Drove to Leadville one day and Buena one day, both around 20 minutes. Great shopping and dining at both locations. Ate at the Twin Lakes Inn one night and it was amazing. Booking again for this fall. Can't wait to see the beauitful fall leaves.
