At 5 kilometers away, in June and July you can dive into a colourful and fragrant field of lavender in bloom, while tasting an excellent wine from the hills.
The Antico Mulino delle Fate is perfect to accommodate a small family of 3/4 persons, in a corner of extreme privacy and silence, immersed in a green terrace in the wood from which departs the most suggestive trekking trails of the hills of Livorno. You can also choose to let yourself be enchanted by the landscape, comfortably lying on a sun lounger, or while sipping an aperitif by the pool.
The Antico Mulino delle Fate is an absolutely unique solution for you who love unspoilt nature and maximum privacy. It is a true and unique watermill built around 1250; its composition is mainly bare stone. The property has been completely renovated and consists of an entrance hall, a kitchen complete with accessories, crockery and appliances: electric and microwave oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, induction hob and Wifi; the sleeping area consists of 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, and is located in the wooden loft. The property is completed by a large living room with a double sofa bed and a large wooden table and pellet stove.
The Antico Mulino delle Fate is for NON-smokers only and is equipped with washing machine and barbecue.

You will find supermarkets and hypermarkets in the city of Livorno, or in the small town of Collesalvetti if you arrive from the motorway. Once you arrive at Antico Mulino delle Fate, you will not want to leave this place. If you have correctly followed the GPS coordinates given to you, you are now along the SP5, the Livorno-Valle Benedetta-Colognole provincial road; the Livorno Hills provincial road. The Via delle Sorgenti di Colognole 14 is a dirt road protected by a bar that is practically always open (you will find the wooden sign 'Antico Mulino delle Fate') Take the dirt road, which is perpendicular to the main road leading from Colognole to Valle Benedetta and then down to Livorno. The road is found going towards Livorno, about 500 metres after Colognole on the right, 50 metres before the fork for Gabbro. If, on the other hand, you are coming from Livorno, you will find the dirt road 50 metres after the fork for Gabbro, on your left. Continue along the dirt road until you come to a green open space (see photo), where you can freely and politely park your car. There you will be welcomed by a member of our staff who will accompany you to your mill and show you all the best opportunities to enjoy your holiday.
