Positive: We rented Apartments 3 and 7. Our inlaws stayed and 3 and my husband and I took 7 for our anniversary. We really liked how easy and streamlined the check-in process was for the property. Super easy and seamless. The building and courtyard are very cute and picturesque. We would highly recommend Apartment 7 for people's stay, especially if you like a boho feel. It was cozy, warm, inviting and very comfortable. It had a really good renovation done and had newer appliances installed so it was the higher-end unit of the two (although both units were the same price). We loved the vaulted high ceilings and the view from the windows was beautiful in the morning and during the sunset. Would really recommend Apartment 7 for people who want to experience a more aesthetic stay. Both apartments were spacious and had very nice design with good storage/hanger space available. The location was 10/10 and although was a bit of a walk to the old part of the city, we did not mind at all. The neighbourhood was quiet, classy, and had plenty of food and shopping spots to explore. The underground parking lot is 2 min walk away with a convenient elevator.
Negative: There was a bit of a problem on our first day - the shower in Apartment 7 would not drain the water. We notified the property right away and they had maintenance come in within half an hour of our request and clear our the pipes. However for Apartment 3, although cozy, it had a very stuffy feel - it was dark with very few light fixtures, had very old appliances that barely worked, and filled up with a strong unpleasant odour which we had to constantly air out. the bed was also located right above the main entrance into the building, and that main door did not have a soft-close mechanism. Any time someone came in the lobby door it would slam with a loud bang. This was especially unpleasant when residents would come back late in the night. The property should look into fixing the front door, or maybe putting up a notice asking people coming in to make sure to close the door softly after 10 PM. Would not recommend Apartment 3 if you want a quieter stay or are sensitive to smells.
