The apartment, recently renovated, has a separate entrance and is located in the heart of the town overlooking the Trabocchi Coast. E 'on several levels: the dining room / kitchen is on the ground floor; a master bedroom with bathroom is situated on a slightly higher level (4 steps in altitude) and is equipped with a beautiful panoramic terrace; the second bedroom, also with bathroom, is instead placed in the lower level with access to the terrace and the garden. All main services (pharmacy, supermarket, bar, pizzeria and a delicious pastry) are nearby. Due to its location the house enjoys a unique panorama that sweeps from the Maiella mountains to the Adriatic Sea, through the Gran Sasso in Italy. A large terrace / garden at the back (for a total of about 100 square meters), with gazebo for meals, sun loungers, outdoor kitchen and barbecue will allow you to live in the open air on your vacation, enjoying breathtaking sunsets. The sandy beach of Marina, just 2 km away, can be reached with both the urban service (the stop is 20 meters from the front door) is a pleasant walk. Beaches and coves with crystal clear sea, can be reached just as easily.

Summary: First, Carlos is the superb host. Living next door, he graciously addressed any of our concerns. We could also call or text him any time, and would expect a reply within a few minutes. Truly enjoyed laying back, relaxing and enjoying the stay. Small town, with the best cornetto's I've discovered in Italy. Regional wine is delicious, of course. View from the terraces overlooked both mountain, sea, farmlands, and the lower section of town. Extremely lovely on a clear day. The lower town has train, and from the balconies, it reminds me of a miniature train setup with mountains, water, town and train station. Many trains pass through throughout the day. They do look tiny from the balconies. Shopping at the nearby grocery store was a fun experience since I don't speak Italian and they didn't speak English. The charming lady at the cheese/olive counter was most helpful on both days I shopped. First day, she even walked the isles with me and bagged some of my produce. She seemed glad to do so, and I was appreciative of the help. The second day, the butcher was also quite nice and gave me exactly what I wanted. He and I used a lot of hand gestures to communicate, of course in a 'good' way. Upon departure, I returned the keys and Carlo gave us a nice departing bottle of Abruzzo wine. Anxious to try it. Our visit was late September for 3 nights.
