Positive: Spacious and authentic apartment in a charming village. We stayed in Račišće, a beautiful and peaceful village on the island of Korčula, full of Mediterranean charm, stone houses, and lovely beaches nearby. The apartment is located right next to the church, in the heart of the old town. It’s very spacious, clean, and equipped with somewhat old-fashioned but fully functional furnishings – everything worked just fine.
Negative: That said, there are a few things to keep in mind. While parking is possible, it is not provided directly at the property – the nearest available spot is about a 5-minute walk away. The Wi-Fi connection was very weak and at times completely unavailable, which might be frustrating if you need a stable internet connection. Also, the check-out time was 8:30 AM, which is earlier than expected. Additionally, the church bells ring hourly starting as early as 5 AM and continue through the morning, which could be disturbing if you're sensitive to noise. Despite these issues, the apartment offers a unique and pleasant stay in an authentic setting. Just be sure to come prepared for a few practical inconveniences.
