Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property is modern, with artistic decorative touches, and is very well equipped with everything you could expect in a rental apartment and more. The owners had left fruit, biscuits, a carafe of wine and more for us and our host was very helpful, giving us information about local transport, taxis etc. The property has a great view of the sea, the mountain and the sunset from the front terrace and is conveniently situated for the best swimming beach, local restaurants and shops, all within roughly 10 minutes walking distance, in a quieter area on the edge of the village. Stavros is a great place to relax and have a chilled holiday.
Negative: We found the mattresses were a little too firm for us and we would have preferred softer pillows, but this did not really detract from our enjoyment of staying at the property. There was really nothing to dislike about the property, but prospective guests should be aware that Stavros is a small place with a limited bus service, particularly from early October onwards.
Summary: An excellent apartment with wonderful sea, mountain and sunset views in a small, relaxing resort
