Summary: It is the only option for staying in Berlin other than B&Bs, and it is really nice to be in the center of town. The hotel is quite small, and I think its restaurant dominates the activity. It is an old hotel, and some things cannot be updated. Tiny rooms in particular. Our room was so small, maybe 100 sq ft, that there was no chair or place to sit, no closet or place to hang clothes. I went out in the hallway, which did have a lot of chairs, to put my shoes on. Only one person could stand in the bathroom at a time. Caveat emptor
