Positive: Idyllically situated away from the business of coastal Mirissa with direct views out to the lagoon and spectacular sunsets. The property was clean, the room spacious as well as the bathroom - well equipped, comfortable and enjoyed the infinity pool.
Negative: Service was poorer compared to our other similar stays in Sri Lanka. Whilst eating dinner, one of the front of house staff was on a videocall to his family and then proceeded to show his family our family eating, orders were misunderstood for food and a takeaway breakfast was forgotten despite being offered/agreed. Overall, felt more of a home stay for its unprofessionalism rather than the price tag of an upmarket hotel.
Summary: Beautiful setting but expensive given service quality
