Summary: This place is perfect for those who want to get out of the city and stay at a lakefront property. They have kayaks, paddleboards, a peddle boat (a large supply of life vests) and fishing gear. Or you can just sit in chairs on the dock or the covered porch and just view the lake. There is a firepit for evenings. There is also a grill to use for a cookout. You have the basic amenities for a nice weekend. That said, we had planned for a 10 day stay (i.e. a mini vacation). The location is close enough to shopping and restaurants. We thought the amenities were more suited for a couple of night stay than for a week or more. There is a refrigerator and a microwave, pots and pans. There are microwave safe plates and bowls for reheating leftovers. A plastic microwave cover would have been a nice addition. There was no toaster. The bathroom had shampoo and conditioner, two small bars of facial soap and nightlights but no hair dryer. We are not very Tech Savy when it comes to streaming TV. We could access Netflix and Amazon Prime, but we missed the option to catch local TV or news. There was a collection of board games, puzzles and DVDs for those inclined. The photos of the rooms accurately depicted the furnishings. Others commented that it was a challenge from the parking space down the long somewhat steep drive and then a steeper, loose gravel incline. Great for a weekend getaway for those without mobility issues.
