Positive: The chalet is beautiful, cozy and very well equipped. The kitchen has all the equipment you might need and it is nice that it is open, so you can be with the group even when cooking. The table and sofa are big enough and confortable. The heating worked very well and quick. Hot water worked very well and good and modern shower. Rooms are spacious enough. Hangers were very useful. The board games were fun (we were all adults). The owner was very flexible with the check-out time, very much appreciated. For checking the time is flexible as it works with a key box. The chalet is in a park with many wood chalets, in the middle of the nature. It is beautiful. I completely recommend it for a disconnection weekend. We will be back!
Negative: The checking was complicated but, with more detailed instructions, should be easy. First, we found closed gates to access the park with the car. I was not warned about this in advanced, but the owner was fast answering the phone. It turns out we had to walk up to the chalet to get the keys for the gate and then come back to the car. The same process for the check-out. This is not confortable. In any case, I recommend the owners to explain this in advanced, especially since there is no internet connection once there. Secondly, it was very difficult to find the chalet. It is not well indicated and all the chalets look the same (there are over 200). All dark, it is very hard to see the number of the chalets, we had to use lanterns. I recommend the owners to send in advanced a map of the park, with clear indications on the route to follow. But once you know the location, it is quick to access. Take into account that apart from no wifi (we knew in advanced), we did not have internet connection on our phones (we did have connection for calling). The restaurant in the park has wifi and they let me use it to contact the owners as we were lost during the checkin. The double room upstairs has a steep ladder to climb. It is not accessible for young children, older people or people with mobility problems. The pillows in the double bed were confortable, but not the ones in the individual beds.
Summary: Great value for money for a calm and beautiful stay in the nature
