1 Bedroom Cottage in West Marden, Chichester
We have many repeat guests to Barley Cottage. It's very comfortable, well equipped and it's all on one level, accommodating 4 people in two bedrooms ( we do have a cot for hire) One bedroom has a king size bed and the other twin-beds. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. The living accommodation comfortably seats everyone and the open plan space has a dining table to seat up to 6 people - useful if you have 2 extra visitors for a meal! The fully fitted kitchen area is well stocked with cooking utensils and dishwasher, washing machine etc. Please email if you'd like to check certain or specific things! Outside the patio garden has a table with parasol and chairs for 4 plus a BBQ. Lovely walks straight from the door up onto the farm and into some beautiful countryside. In Barley we will allow one 'well-behaved' dog at £18 which does have to be agreed in advance and is payable in cash on arrival. Guests staying in the cottages have the shared use of our lawned and walled in garden. During the high summer months the shared use of the heated pool (mid June to mid September) is a great advantage on those days when you may not want to go to a beach! There's parasols and sun loungers on the pool lawn area. We must stress here that the swimming pool and pool garden is only for those on our booking forms and residing in the cottages. We are sorry but regret no guests of those staying are permitted to access this area at all. It's a lovely area for relaxing and the children seem to love the warm water. Please ask if you have any 'pool queries'! The village pub is just 75 yards down the road.
We do offer short breaks out of high season, and these are Friday to Monday (3 nights) and Monday to Friday (4 nights). Sometimes as a very late availability we are able to be more flexible, but this is the general rule. Please do email any questions.
