Summary: My family had a wonderful stay at this house. I used to live in the Bay Area years ago and wanted to take my family on a vacation there. It’s located in a working class neighborhood but it’s quiet. The house doesn’t look so good from the outside. You can’t see much of the house itself from the street. Theres a concrete area in front of the house to sit or for the kids to play that isn’t visible from the street. There are tall bushes in the front keeping this area private. The bushes are messy looking but past the bushes as you get to the door it gets better. The inside is very nice. It was clean and well maintained. Theres no walk to wall carpeting (important to me), just clean hardwood floors. The beds were comfortable. I appreciated the multiple phone chargers by every bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast before we headed out each day. The owner was quick to respond when I had a question. The one big drawback was that there wasn’t a washing machine - you had to go to a nearby laundromat. Yuck! Luckily we have family nearby. The owner says that they have plans to install one soon. There’s only AC in the living room but at night it cools down so it was fine for us because we were out a lot of the day. He said that full AC in the house is coming soon too. Bottom line is that I will stay here again next time we are in town as long as a washer/dryer is installed. AC will be good too. Lovely house!
