The Space:
Renovated in the summer of 2021 with furnishings from places like Serena & Lily and Crate & Barrel, this fantastic and inviting two-story beach house comfortably sleeps 9 with generously sized bedrooms in Ocean View. An open and airy first floor includes a dining room that seats 10, a fully appointed kitchen, convenient full bathroom, and a front deck. The comfy living room features plenty of seating for a family or group, including a queen sleeper sofa from Article. and features plenty of seating for the family or group. Relax in front of the 65" 4K Smart TV or play some classic board games.
The kitchen is fully appointed with a refrigerator large enough to stock up for the week. Smaller appliances include a Kuerig coffee system and a Ninja blender perfect for preparing frozen drinks for the beach. Cabinets are fully stocked with glassware, plates/dishes/bowls (both glass and plastic sets), mugs, pots/pans, cooking utensils, bakeware, and children’s dishes. For those who don’t feel like cooking, there are lots of local restaurants and food delivery services available (e.g Doordash, Grubhub, Instacart, Postmates, Uber Eats). If grilling is your thing, we have a 3-burner Weber Grill perfect for every outdoor meal.
The oversized (25’ x 23’) master bedroom boasts high ceilings, a king size bed, 48” 4K smart TV, reading lamps, a work area with desk, en suite spa shower, and a huge private deck, complete with a hammock chair and views of the stunning sunsets over the Bay.
Two additional generously sized (17’ x 13’) bedrooms connect to an en suite bathroom with a bathtub. The second bedroom comes with a king bed and a queen bed. The third bedroom has a two full beds and one single bed, with access to the second floor deck complete with seating for enjoying a morning brew or an evening read. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and full-length mirrors.
Our home is a great balance of common and separate spaces to meet everyone’s needs! All TVs in the home are Roku Smart TVs. We have high-speed internet so whether you're streaming media content or conducting business, you'll have a great connection!
Enjoy tranquil evening walks on the beach or wind down at home on the front porch or back deck. Finish off the night just relaxing with a drink under the stars! Come enjoy the Virginia coast! Those home can comfortably sleep 8.
Our large, two-car garage features space for extra storage and a Tesla Wall Connector that adds up to 44 miles of range per hour and can be fitted to appropriate guest-supplied adapters to charge non-Tesla EVs as well. Our parking pad can accommodate up to 4 additional vehicles.

Our home has a contactless, seamless and easy self check- in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. The Neighborhood:
Willoughby Spit is a great neighborhood to check out on foot or bike with water on both sides! Our side contains over 7 miles of uncrowded and awesome beaches with small waves right on the Chesapeake Bay.
Other Things to Note:
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) Fireworks and fires are illegal in Norfolk and any use of either will be cause for immediate termination of your stay.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.
