Imagine relaxing for a week or two in the quiet luxury of the Bear Necessities (hardly bare at all!), spending your vacation sunning in the back yard with it’s incredible view of Lake Huron and enjoying the serenity of down time on the sheltered back deck.
Stretch out in the large living room in front of the fireplace on the comfiest sofas anywhere. Or go down to the games room, with another large screen TV. Mealtime is a joy with a beautiful dining room and large kitchen. You will probably grill up a lot of meals outside on the deck. After supper head into Grand Bend for Ice Cream and some shopping.
And the beach!!! Bare Necessities is just a few cottages away from the best beach in the area! Many of our guests come to this area just for the beach alone. Please note that there are no direct steps behind the cottage to the beach. Lots of sand and clean water make it a safe place for the kids to enjoy swimming.
Bear Necessities has just undergone renovations to make it a comfortable place for your family to enjoy some well deserved time together. It has new beds, as well as large comfortable bedrooms. Having 2 King, 1 Queens and 2 twin beds.
We are pleased to be able to offer you this luxury cottage for the first time this season- don’t delay, the weeks will fill up fast! More outdoor photos coming in the spring when the new landscaping is finished!
