Welcome to Plantation Village! The Plantation Village Beach Resort is located directly in the heart of 7 Mile Beach, and conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, bars, activities and water sports. Unit 68 is located on the second floor with a pool garden view at Plantation Village (address: 323 West Bay Road). 1-minute walk to the beach.
The airport is around 8 minutes away by car. Two grocery stores: Foster’s Supermarket is located in Camana Bay and Kirk Market is located in George Town and both are about a 15-20 minute walk.
The interior offers a transitional kitchen and dining area and central A/C. Plasma TV in the living room and master suite. Screened porch. Small home office area.
The property is furnished and completely equipped with kitchen appliances, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, granite countertops, and front load washer and dryer.
Two bedrooms: master suite with king-size bed, second bedroom with one double bed, and one day bed with trundle. Include also a Queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Two full bathrooms.
Air conditioning is provided as well. Free Internet access and free parking.
We are completely prepared for your little ones, including Dr Brown’s deluxe baby bottle warmer, baby play mat, beach toys, and children's play area. If requested by the guest a crib and high chair can also be provided complimentary.
The Resort offers two freshwater swimming pools - one large pool with a sea view and one oversized pool with an area 3 and 4 feet deep for children. The resort offers plenty of green and garden space, lounge and seating chairs at the pools as well as on the beach and pop-up umbrellas at the pools and beach.
Plantation Village has full tennis facilities, free bicycles to check out, and kayaking options kayaks. The resort also offers 2 grilling areas with large Weber gas grills, a lighted tennis court, a playground area. For divers, there is an equipment rinse area and dive excursions can also be arranged.
You can snorkel directly in front of the complex and can access jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat, and kayaking by taking a short walk on the beach to the Marriott hotel.
*** IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to storms, currents, tides and coastal erosion, the width of the beach vary considerably. This is a seasonal, cyclical and changing situation. Some weeks there is plenty of sand allowing guests to lounge on the beach, and at other times there is just some sand. Please be aware that there is a chance that the Plantation Village beach may not be present during your stay. The water in front of Plantation Village continues to offer guests unparalleled snorkelling, sea kayaking and paddle boarding experiences whether the sand is present or not. I have discounted my reservation rates to take into consideration this beach issue. ***
The condo is also on the bus route for easy access to downtown George Town, Hell, and the Turtle Farm in West Bay.
Cars are driven on the left side of the road in Cayman. There are plenty of options for car rentals. The resort is within a short walking distance of Camana Bay where you will find the largest supermarket on the island, liquor and wine stores, world-class retail stores, banks, healthcare providers, gyms, cinema, over a dozen restaurants, bars, cafés, and specialty eateries.
Be sure not to miss a visit to Stingray City where you can swim with the stingrays! You will find many reputable diving companies on the island that provide scuba diving experience. You can take a short walk to the Marriott hotel to access water sports like jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat, and kayaking.
