Built in 1874 Tregarton Cottage stands at the entrance to Tregarton Park, our touring and camping park. The cottage has undergone a complete renovation to a very high standard and conforming to all regulations. 2 large bedrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen with utility. The cottage is double glazed with central heating and renovated to an extremely high standard. Available to book from April until the end of October. While staying in the cottage you will have full use of the facilities on the holiday park. These include tennis court, children's playground, swimming pool, shop and take-away. Please note of the opening and closing times of these facilities as they do not operate all season.

Summary: As a result of not being able to drive temporairily our usual choice of holiday was not an option (touring caravan) therefore knowing how much the site at Tregarton meant to my children we booked the cottage on site it slept 4 but the owners were happy to accomodate us as a family of 5 the property was very comfy, clean and well equipped with washing machine/dishwasher fridge/freezer. the owners supplied a welcome drink and snack and a welcome pack full of local information about drs, dentists, places to eat and sight see. The owners also kept us informed of a local bus service and taxi service. Although all sleeping accomodation was upstairs my partially disabled husband managed the flight of stairs daily as there was only one toilet and it was upstairs, the bath had a shower over head which was accessible due to places my husband could use for support. the facilities of the site were available to the tenants in the cottage and the shop was sufficiently stocked to get food from (there was also a takeaway on site) but equally the kitchen was large enough to accomodate a supermarket delivery of a weeks supply of meals. I cannot praise our experience well enough as seasoned tourers it was a total holiday with a difference. Although it meant planning and walking we were able to survive our week without our own transport we used the bus and taxi to get us to Mevagissey and St. Austell where we caught a train to truro and penzance for the day
