Welcome to Winding River Mountain Cabin at the New River! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with the family, this cabin is for you! Enjoy the long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from one of two covered, wrap-around decks. The cabin is located in a quiet, gated community with direct access to the New River. Perfect for the family who loves fishing, kayaking and tubing!
With 3 levels of living area, each floor is equipped with its own bedroom, bathroom and living area so there is plenty of room to stretch out.
The main living area has a beautiful stone, wood burning fire place as well as a fully equipped kitchen with all new utensils, pots and pans. We have a 50in Samsung Smart TV to be enjoyed from a leather sofa or brand new Lazy Boy recliners. Please note that we do not have cable or satellite, however you do have access to Samsung TV which has many of the same options as cable, as well, the ability to log into your own streaming service of choice.
The upstairs has a very secluded bedroom and full bathroom with a queen size bed and room darkening curtains. The loft also has two additional twin mattresses, as well as a rocking glider to enjoy coffee or tea while looking out over the property from the second story windows.
Downstairs really has it all! Located in the "game room" we have a pool table, Samsung Smart TV, as well as a fireplace with gas logs. Downstairs we also have a full bedroom and bathroom, as well as washer and dryer.
Outside we have two levels of connected and covered wrap around decks. Upstairs we have rocking chairs and a hammock. Downstairs we have Adirondack chairs and hammock swings.
Please keep in mind that we are in a quiet, gated community with full time residents as well as vacation renters. We have a large backyard to enjoy but please respect adjoining private property and only enjoy our property unless it is an otherwise noted common area within the neighborhood.
