Bellevue is a classic 'longère' style french farmhouse which has been lovingly restored to provide modern, comfortable accommodation, which oozes character and style. The thick stone walls keep the property wonderfully cool and the south terrace is shaded by a beautiful walnut tree, ideal for al fresco dining. The farmhouse has 3 double en suite bedrooms and a twin - sleeps 8.
Attached is a cosy 2-bedroomed cottage which provides fully independent, ground floor accommodation for another family or a getaway for grandparents!
There is a 10 x 5m heated swimming pool - 120cm deep throughout with full length entry steps along a short edge. Surrounded by a large sun-soaked terrace, plenty of sun loungers and with a lovely view over the surrounding countryside.
The main house has one double ensuite bedroom on the ground floor with only a few steps to contend with, useful if there are any guests with mobility issues. There are two other ensuite double bedrooms and a twin room.
The house is in the friendly and charming hamlet of Turat, which is 5 minutes drive to Daglan, Cenac-et-St Julien and Domme all of which are villages with shops, bars and restaurants. The Dordogne river is 5 minutes away with it's river beaches and canoe stations and the celebrated medieval town of Sarlat is only 15 minutes drive. The valley of the chateaux is right on the doorstep and there are so many things to see and do a week is never enough!
