Borgo degli Olivi (The "Hamlet of the Olives"), is one of two lovingly restored 19th century Umbrian farmhouses situated on six acres of olive groves with a magnificent pool which is available to let throughout the year.
SLEEPS: The Apt. sleeps 4-6 people very comfortably (Has bed space for 7 - convertible sofa in living room but I prefer to keep numbers at 6 for comfort!! ..- very suitable for parents and 2 children and grandparents due to the large family bedroom. There are automated gates at both entrances to the borgo and ample designated secure parking.

LOCATION:
We are a five minute walk to the nearest village of Casalini and a five minute drive to the shores of the famous Lake Trasimeno..
Conveniently located halfway between Rome and Florence, the villa is easily accessible from a number of international airports including Perugia (30 mins), Rome (2 hours drive), Pisa (2 hrs), Florence (1 1/2 hours), Bologna (2 1/2 hours) Chiusi and Castiglione del Lago train stations are roughly 30 and 20 mins drive respectively - on the main Rome - Florence line. The motorway is 20 mins drive.
Florence, Rome. Sienna, (1hr) Orvieto (1hr) Pisa 2hrs) Perugia 930 mins) Cortona (30 min), Assisi (45 mins) Montepulciano (30 mins) and many other attractions of Etruscan, Roman and Renaissance times are easily accessible for day trips.. There are also a number of wonderful hilltop walled towns in the immediate vicinity - Panicale, Paciano, Castiglione del Lago and Citta della Pieve - all within easy access for wonderful restaurants etc.

- Golf, rafting , boating, sailing, boat tours , mountain biking (there is a designated cycle path around the lake, live theatre, musical recitals, opera ,museums, a water park - horse back riding - health and beauty spa , - outdoor natural spa heated water pool. There are a range of local festivals - Umbria Jazz, Italian cookery courses ,vineyards and of course shopping - antiques, markets etc.
FACILITIES.
The apt. is the full ground floor of a beautiful villa with French doors leading out of all the rooms , The living room has a fireplace with 2 sets of French doors - one opening on the large patio and the other on the garden overlooking pool.
There is a very large kitchen-dining room with dining table which can seat up to 12 people comfortably opens on to a beautiful patio with a very old olive tree and spectacular views as seen in the photos. There are 2 large bed-rooms - one double room with en-suite and one big family bedroom with a 6 ft bed and two single beds next to the main bathroom with bath and shower.
All furnishings throughout the house are of the highest standard. all appliances - dishwasher , washing machine full oven, 5 ring gas top etc.
SWIMMING POOL
A lovely 18 metre pool is shared with the apartments in the other house in the Borgo. It is situated in the middle of our olive grove and enjoys stunning valley views .Each apt. has their own high quality sunbeds and umbrellas .The pool is beautiful and is maintained 5 times a week by a professional pool company during the Summer season.
GARDENS
The farmhouse is situated on six acres of olive grove and stunning gardens. the apt/ has a magnificent private garden with olive trees, cypress trees and many beautiful shrubs, oleander, rosemary and lavender bushes. the garden includes a comfortable dining area and lounge chairs to read and relax.ph
