Summary: We just got home from our stay at this Mountain View neighborhood home. It had a lot of good space and was a great location making it easy to get around town. First of all, the price was right, booking through VRBO was super easy, and communication with the property management company and local host was great. The home itself was nice and it has a great backyard. It was a little too cold for us to enjoy this time but I imagine it's a great summer spot. Some things to note for future guests: 1) The home is surface level clean, doable for a couple days but needs a good deep cleaning and you could smell the wood burning stove prominently when not in use (we didn't use it). 2) The main living room looks like it was an add-on and doesn't have it's own heater (the home is heated by cadet heaters) so you'll have to use the wood stove during colder months. 2) The beds are extra firm "memory foam", way too hard for me but some people like firm beds so more power to ya! 3) The kitchen had the basic necessities and the coffee supplied was good, but overall was very sparse. If you're used to staying in rental homes that are considered stocked, this is not that. I recommend bringing any kitchen extras you'll need - Tupperware, cooking oil, condiments, spices, etc. 4) They supplied quality, Charmin toilet paper instead of cheap sandpaper to wipe your booty - Thank you!! Overall, it was a good stay. I don't know that I would stay again just because of the bed situation but that's a personal preference. If you don't mind a firm bed, I would definitively recommend this home!
