Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great location in the Thüringer Wald. Very good breakfast.

Negative: Reception clerk was visibly bothered to have to converse in English, even though they then spoke it perfectly. The fact that someone has a German address does not obligate one to speak in German, especially as a paying customer in a hotel that advertises in English. Would otherwise be a 9 score, but this “welcome experience” is worth deducting a couple of points.
