This incredible 4 bedroom, 3.5-bath home is a Luxury Estate with stunning views of Lake Winnipesaukee and Gunstock Mountain Resort. This Swiss chalet is situated on a peaceful, private 17 acre mountaintop featuring beautiful woodwork and authentic furniture and fittings. Enjoy coffee or cocktails surrounded by lush gardens and manicured lawns that lend itself well to a family retreat or boutique wedding. There is plenty of parking, even enough room for your boat!
One of the owners of the property lives at the top of the mountain and can be reached in the case of emergency. In all other instances, Ashley Is the property manager/ contact person to handle all your needs, requests, and answer any questions. She lives local and can be reached anytime. She loves to interact and meet new guest but won't impose on your stay.
Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi (previously Superhog.) This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi (previously Superhog) will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so before arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be asked to authorize a damage deposit for up to $500 via third party provider Truvi in case of accidental damage during your stay. This will include a small services fee.
The Lakes Region, particularly Gilford, is a remarkable getaway destination. Lake Winnipesaukee is a 4 minute drive from the house and guests can visit Ellocoya State Beach. Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion is a 5 minute drive and Gunstock Mountain Resort is 2 miles from the house. Laconia is close by with great coffee spots and restaurants. As well as Weirs Beach.
Guests will have access to the entire home along with the trails in the yard that bring you right to Gunstock. If you're feeling adventurous and want to try snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, or sledding, we have provided gear in the utility room.

This property was hand-built by Ashley's Swiss grandparents. It remains in the family, and when you arrive, you'll get that warm, family home feel. Our guests love all the space, even with 12 guests you will not feel cramped!
