Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: A superb position overlooking Torbay, with a choice of terrace and gardens to sit and enjoy the stunning views across Torbay. We didn't use our car the entire stay as Brixham harbour was within easy walking distance for us, and likewise the clifftop walks around Berry Head. There is plenty of choice at breakfast, and the local crab sandwiches we had at lunch were delicious. ALL the staff we met and spoke to were helpful, polite and chatty. We come to Brixham regularly in our camper, but this time we chose more comfort ... and we would choose the Berry Head Hotel again!
Negative: Our room was 12A so no unlucky 13, but it was previously a bigger room divided in two, because you could hear the people in the adjoining room talking fairly easily, and using their plug sockets on the dividing wall. It didn't bother us, but it was noticeable.
