When visiting Cooperstown you won't find anything more comfortable and cozy than The Bissell House. The Bissell House is where the quaintness of the country meets modern living. Located in the heart of Fly Creek, a hamlet of Cooperstown, this home is close to all local amenities. Off the main road, but not on the main road, this is a perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy Cooperstown vacation to relax and unwind. You won't want to leave!
The Bissell House is a single family home. There are 3 bedrooms: one with a king bed and one with a queen, and the upstairs has a full bed. Also a pull out sofa in the living room. Therefore The Bissell House will accommodate up to 8 guests. The home is off a main road on a side street while still close to all local amenities. You have the yard to yourself which is peaceful and relaxing. Outdoor games are available for you to enjoy. The Bissell House is also a great spot for bird watching! Use the binoculars in the kitchen to get a closer look. In addition, there is a patio area with a propane fire pit to sit around. Up the hill is another firepit with chairs to sit around. There is 1 full bathroom on the first floor with a shower (tub, not a walk in). The upstairs bathroom has a toilet and a stall shower. For now, 2 upstairs rooms are locked for storage and renovation. This house has a fantastic water filtration system- no sulphur water here! The living room is a great spot to curl up with a cup of coffee or tea and soak in some serenity. Forgot a book? Read one of ours! The kitchen is immaculate, up to date, and has all the amenities needed to cook a full meal with ease. There is a Weber grill outside if you prefer BBQ! The sun porch is a great place to enjoy some fresh air. There is a laundry area with very large washer and dryer. There is nothing better than leaving your vacation with a suitcase full of clean laundry! Air conditioners in the bedrooms for summer stays. Close to hiking trails, mountain bike trails, snow mobile trails, breweries, fishing, kayaking, state parks. The Bissell House does not compromise on comfort and makes sure every guest has an amazing trip they will remember for years to come!

There is no one else in the home. You will have access to the entire first floor of the home as pictured, and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Two rooms upstairs are locked for storage.
