Summary: Yeah, you have a beautiful view onto the Mekhong River and the Laos mountains, but it’s difficult to believe that this hotel is only 5 years old. Its design and choice of building materials make it look more like vintage 1970’s to 1990’s, and it’s condition (especially bathrooms) is already bad. The worst, however, are the mattresses. It might be equally comfortable to sleep on the floor as on the “hard-like-a-brick” bed. Would definitely not stay here again if/when coming to Nakhon Phanom again in the future. There are better hotels at possibly slightly higher rates. In the end, you get what you pay for.
